ground-0

sometimes, i wonders why do we bother to try so hard when we know that eventually,
we would end up in vain. broken & empty.

we build our defenses for so long- some say months, some say years and some take forever,
only to realise that when met with ur greatest enermy, it only takes the slightest blow and ur wall come crumbling down.

having said that, why do we still let it happen? .......... when we already know what the consequences would be...

have u ever love someone so much that u'd rather not be with him?
and it is not because you dont love him 'enuff,
but it hurts to be with him....

strange right?
i did.

s e v e n

i h8 everything that reminds me of u.
that room.
that smell.
my phone.
cuddle buddy.

i wish it never started,
i wish i never met u.
i wish i never had to be in this situation.
cause forgetting someone is painful.

it actually hurts...
i never want to fall in love again,
love is a terrible mistake.

aoki never disappoints

"when all thats loved is lost, a little warmth melts the frost."

The Sandman

“Have you even been in love? Horrible, isn’t it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens your heart and it means someone can get inside you and mess you up.

You build up all these defenses. You build up this whole armor, for years, so nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life…

You give them a piece of you. They don’t ask for it. They do something dumb one day like kiss you, or smile at you, and then your life isn’t your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so a simple phrase like ’maybe we should just be friends’ or ‘how very perceptive’ turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart.

It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It’s a soul-hurt, a body-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love.”
